Scheduling Options

  1. Once per week - Recommended (most common)

    • Lesson is scheduled for a fixed day and time each week. This promotes a consistent practice schedule and helps students progress at a steady pace. Absences can be rescheduled as make-up lessons as long as minimum 24-hours advanced notice is given. Make-up lesson times are subject to availability.

  2. A la carte

    • Student does not have a fixed lesson time, but will contact the studio to ask for available times. Time slots are subject to availability. Student pays the pay as you come price (see below).

Pricing

  1. Pay as you come: $35 per 30-minute lesson

    • Students who will be taking a specific time each week are allowed 1 skipped lesson every 2 months.

    • Students who do not notify the studio or the instructor of absence at least 24 hours in advance will be billed the full amount

  2. Lessons paid monthly: $28 per 30-minute lesson
Total price may vary month-to-month depending on the day of the week that the lesson is scheduled for.

    • Unused lessons cannot roll over as credit towards another month unless the lesson rate is re-adjusted to the pay-as-you-come rate of $35.

    • Students planning on being absent for an extended period of time must schedule and pay for make-up lessons ahead of time for the planned absences to avoid removal from the schedule.

    • If you decide to skip a lesson (no make-up), the remaining lessons of the month will be charged at the $35 rate. Limit 1 skipped lesson for every 2 months.

    • Please note that the payment is for the reservation of the time slot, and absences require 24-hour advance notice in order to reschedule.

    • Clients who are repeatedly late on payments will be required to pay for the monthly rate at least 24 hours ahead (or as determined by a Millan Music representative) of their scheduled lesson time in order for the time slot to remain reserved.

  3. First lesson is FREE for brand new students!

    • Limit 1 free 30-minute lesson per student

      • Free lesson will be forfeited if it is canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice. For any cancellations or rescheduling (with 24 hours notice or otherwise), a deposit in the amount of $35 (3% convenience fee for online payments) must be made in order to reserve a new time slot. Payment must be made at least 1 week before the new time slot or as determined by a Millan Music representative.

    • New piano students must pay the cost of their lesson book (about $11), payable at the first lesson.

  4. Cash, check, card, and Zelle payments are accepted.

  5. Lesson slot reservations: If you are unable to start immediately but would like to reserve a certain lesson time, we can take payment for the lessons that will be missed and your instructor will coordinate a time to do makeup lessons once you are available to start.

  6. Discontinuing lessons: If you discontinue lessons, please let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time. Failure to notify will result in a $35 charge in order to pay the instructor for holding the time slot.
